Based on the core values of transparency and ease of access, we charge an ‘all in’ fee for our service, and are highly effective in assisting our Trustees in making the right choices for their SSAS schemes.
Meet the team
Rachel Sestini
Director
Rachel is an experienced tax advisor, specialising in US Tax matters. Having grown increasingly frustrated with the service provision and information available from SSAS Trustee firms, Rachel took the step to establish Sestini and Co Pension Trustees Limited, knowing that greater control and a more client focused SSAS service offering was needed. Since the firm’s establishment in 2017, Rachel has continued to develop the offering, which benefits enormously from her knowledge of tax matters.
Samantha Hayward
Director
Samantha heads up the operation that she and Rachel Sestini started back in 2017. She first encountered SSAS in 2006 when pension rule changes were implemented, and spent the following years learning as much as she could from experienced technical pensions experts. The most common frustration shared by Sam and the clients and advisers she was working with, was the lack of transparency around service and cost when administering a SSAS. Sam knew that in offering a clear directive, everyone involved would benefit from the added value and time cost saving. Several years on, other SSAS firms are following suit, offering an ‘all in’ fee, and striving for a more competitive service.
Stephanie Lewis
Senior Administrator
Steph has a keen eye for details, and can recite complex rules and legislation with almost perfect recall. It’s no surprise therefore that Steph’s strengths are the more complex and nuanced self investments such as properties and loans, which she’s been administering for over 12 years now, as well as scheme benefits – including the ability to undertake manual fund splits. When our team started to grow, Steph was an obvious choice. Her Eurovision knowledge and superior baking skills make her a key asset to our office.
Keren Beasley
Administrator
Keren has been working with SSAS pensions for the best part of 30 years. Her superior knowledge of the HMRC Pension Scheme Returns, excellent record keeping, and exemplary customer service make her an integral part of our team. We’re very fortunate to have Keren on board – not least of all, as she introduced Samantha to SSAS back in 2006! If you’ve ever had a video call with Keren, you’ve likely met one of her cats .Leo the three legged Bengal is something of a team mascot.
Dawn Rayner
Administrator
Dawn is a truly customer focused banking expert. With 25 years of banking expertise, Dawn looks after our new schemes, transfers, and banking matters. Dawn’s ‘right first time’ approach allows us to have a far slicker onboarding process than other providers, as she’ll leave nothing to chance, and likes to prep well in advance. When she’s not going above and beyond for our clients, Dawn will either be gardening, walking, or walking around a garden centre.
Helen Miller
Administrator
Helen’s breadth of knowledge and empathetic approach to client matters help us all to see things from a different perspective. Helen has over 30 years of SSAS experience to draw from, meaning that she can often anticipate the potential pitfalls as well as the highlights of complex transactions. Having moved to Cornwall to renovate her beautiful home by the sea, Helen is very much living the dream.
